Credit Ledger Book — your digital udhaar / khata book
Last updated: 29 August 2026
This is the agreement (EULA) between you and DiLabs, the maker of Credit Ledger Book. Using the app means you accept it. Section 10 has the extra terms Apple requires for iPhone and iPad.
You should be 16 or older to use Credit Ledger Book. We give you a personal licence to install and use it on devices you own. Please don’t resell it, copy it, take it apart to copy the code, or try to unlock premium without paying.
2. What the app is (and isn’t)
It’s a book-keeping app for recording udhaar given and payments received. It is not a bank, lender, payment service or accountant. It doesn’t move money. The totals it shows are only as correct as what you type in, so please check important figures yourself.
3. Your data is your responsibility
Your ledger lives on your phone. Keep backup on — a lost phone, an uninstall or “Clear All Data” can wipe it for good, and we can’t bring it back.
You’re entering other people’s details (your customers), so please handle them lawfully and respectfully.
Keep your phone and your Google / Apple account secure.
4. Premium plans

Single payment, never renews
The price and duration are shown on the purchase screen before you pay, and change by country.
Payment: charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm. We never see your card or bank details.
Renewal: monthly and yearly plans renew at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal.
Cancelling: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions (iPhone) or Play Store → Subscriptions (Android). You keep premium until the period you paid for ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Free trial: if a trial is offered, it turns into a paid plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused trial time is lost when you buy.
Refunds: handled by the store, not by us —
Apple or
Google Play.
Your local consumer rights still apply. If a refund is given, premium is switched off.
Price changes: we’ll tell you before a price change, and you can cancel first.
Restore: sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account and tap “Restore Purchases”.
5. Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. We don’t control what advertisers show and aren’t responsible for their offers. Premium removes ads.
6. Ownership
The app — its code, design and name — belongs to DiLabs. Everything you write in your ledger belongs to you; we claim nothing over it.
7. Other services
The app works with Firebase, AdMob, Google Drive, Google Play, Apple iCloud, Sign in with Apple and OneSignal. Those are run by Google, Apple and OneSignal under their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them.
8. No guarantees
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard on it, but we can’t promise it will never crash, that a reminder will always fire, or that a backup or restore will always succeed. Nothing here removes rights your local consumer law gives you.
9. Limits of our liability
As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, or lost data — including a failed backup, a missed reminder, or a wrong amount that was entered. If we are ever held liable, the total is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, or USD 50, whichever is higher.
10. Extra terms for iPhone & iPad (required by Apple)
This agreement is between you and DiLabs only — not Apple. DiLabs alone is responsible for the app and its content, and these terms don’t conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
The licence lets you use the app on any Apple device you own or control, as allowed by Apple’s Usage Rules, including through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Support: DiLabs alone provides support. Apple has no obligation to provide any support for the app.
Warranty: DiLabs alone is responsible for any warranty. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Beyond that refund, Apple has no warranty responsibility, and any other claim, loss or cost is DiLabs’ responsibility.
Claims: DiLabs, not Apple, handles any claim about the app — product liability, failure to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or privacy law.
Intellectual property: if anyone claims the app infringes their IP rights, DiLabs, not Apple, will deal with that claim.
Legal compliance: you confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must also follow any other terms that apply to you, such as your mobile data plan.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and may enforce it against you.
11. Ending this agreement
It ends if you break these terms, or whenever you delete the app. We may also block access for fraud or abuse of purchases. Ending it doesn’t mean a refund, unless the law or the store says so.
12. Changes & law
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and we’ll tell you in the app. These terms follow the laws of India, but if you’re a consumer elsewhere, your own country’s consumer protections still apply.
