Sync Notes

We may collect the following types of data:

• Personal Information (when you sign in with Google):
  • Name and Gmail address (collected via Google Sign-In for account creation and sync)
  • Login credentials are managed securely through Google OAuth — we never store your password
• Notes & Voice Notes Data:
  • Content you create (text notes, voice-to-text notes, checklists, etc.)
  • Notes data is stored in a structured note format and synced to your account if logged in
• Device Information:
  • Device type, OS version, language, and crash logs (for app improvement)
• Advertising Data:
  • Through Google AdMob, certain non-personal data such as device identifiers or usage information may be collected to display ads

• Provide and improve our note-taking and voice-to-text features
• Authenticate your identity securely via Google Sign-In (Gmail)
• Sync your notes across devices when you are logged in
• Improve app stability and overall user experience
• Display relevant ads through Google AdMob

• Your notes and voice-to-text notes are encrypted before being stored, ensuring your privacy.
• Data is stored locally on your device and/or synced securely when you are logged in with your Google account.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as required for advertising or optional sync services.
• Google account data (name, Gmail) is only used for authentication and account identification — never shared with advertisers.

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

• Google Sign-In / Google OAuth — for secure login using your Gmail account
• Google AdMob — for ads and analytics
• Google Firebase / Cloud Sync (if applicable) — for note storage and synchronization

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy.

• Notes and voice-to-text notes remain stored until you delete them.
• If you use account sync, your data will be stored securely until you delete your account or request removal.
• Gmail address associated with your account is retained only as long as your account is active.

• You can delete notes, voice-to-text notes, or your account at any time from within the app.
• You can disable personalized ads through your device settings.
• You may contact us to request deletion of your account data (including your Gmail) at any time.
• You can revoke Google Sign-In access at any time via your Google Account settings.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you, including your Gmail address used for login.
• Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell your personal data. However, advertising partners (Google AdMob) may use your data for personalized ads. You can opt-out via your device settings or at aboutads.info.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

• Legal Basis: We process your Gmail and notes data based on your consent (Google Sign-In) and for the performance of our service (note sync).

• Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request deletion of your personal data at any time.
• Right to Restriction of Processing: You may request that we limit how we use your data.
• Right to Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to Object: You may object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing or profiling.
• Data Transfers: If your data is transferred outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Sync Notes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information (including Gmail addresses) from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at embeepay141@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app and/or in the store listing. Continued use of Sync Notes after any update constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
