We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is written in plain language so you clearly understand what data we handle and why — no confusing legal jargon.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App and uninstall it.

We only collect information that is necessary to provide and improve the service. Here is a clear breakdown:

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials (no login is required).
• We do not access your contacts, microphone, camera (beyond what you explicitly share), or location data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

• Core functionality: To process your uploaded images and convert them into PDF files.
• Temporary file handling: To temporarily store files in memory or cloud infrastructure during active processing.
• Performance monitoring: To identify bugs, crashes, and performance issues so we can fix them quickly.
• App improvement: To analyze aggregated, anonymous usage patterns and improve features.
• Legal compliance: To meet our legal obligations under applicable laws.

Temporary vs. Permanent Storage

We want to be transparent about how your files are stored:

• Images you upload are processed temporarily. They are held in secure cloud storage only for the duration of the conversion process and are automatically deleted once the PDF has been generated and delivered to your device.
• Generated PDF files are saved locally on your device. We do not retain copies of your completed PDF files on our servers after the conversion is complete.
• Temporary cloud storage is used solely for processing. Files are purged promptly — typically within minutes of processing completion.

Security Measures

We take the protection of your data seriously and implement the following safeguards:

• 🔒 Encryption at rest: Files stored temporarily in cloud infrastructure are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

To deliver the App's functionality, we use trusted third-party service providers. These providers are carefully selected and are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Cloud Storage & Infrastructure

We may use services such as Google Firebase (Firebase Storage, Firebase Analytics) or similar cloud platforms to handle file processing and temporary storage. These services operate under their own privacy policies and security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used and to detect technical issues. These tools collect anonymized, aggregated data only — they do not receive your images or PDF files.

PDF Processing Libraries

PDF generation is performed using on-device or server-side libraries. Any server-side processing is conducted within our controlled infrastructure and is covered by the security measures described in Section 4.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us through the support channel available within the App. We will respond to your request within 30 days in accordance with GDPR requirements.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (DPA) if you believe we have not handled your data appropriately.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

• Contractual necessity: Processing your images to provide the PDF conversion service you requested.
• Legitimate interests: Maintaining the security of the App and improving its performance.
• Legal obligation: Complying with applicable laws and regulations.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information:

Your CCPA Rights

• Right to Know: You have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and any third parties with whom it is shared.
• Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions required by law.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. Therefore, no opt-out mechanism for sale is applicable.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will receive the same quality of service regardless of whether you make a privacy request.

Categories of Information Collected (CCPA Disclosure)

• Identifiers: Device identifiers and IP addresses (collected automatically).
• Commercial information: Not collected.
• Internet or other electronic network activity: App usage data and interaction logs.
• Geolocation data: Not collected.
• Audio, visual, or similar information: Images you voluntarily upload for conversion (processed temporarily).
• Inferences: Not collected or used to build consumer profiles.

Submitting a CCPA Request

To submit a "Know" or "Delete" request, please use the support channel within the App. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with prior notice.

We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

• Uploaded images: Automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload, or immediately after your PDF is successfully generated — whichever comes first.
• Generated PDFs: Not retained on our servers. The file is delivered to your device and removed from processing infrastructure promptly.
• Technical logs and usage data: Retained for up to 90 days for security monitoring and crash diagnostics, then permanently deleted.
• Anonymized analytics data: May be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.

This App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 for users in the European Union, in accordance with GDPR).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we become aware that a child under the applicable minimum age has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our systems.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this App or provided personal information, please contact us through the App's support channel so we can take appropriate action promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.

When we make changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
• Notify you through an in-app notice or prompt when you next open the App, if the changes are material.
